Wolves perform better than dogs in logic tests, according to researchers from Eötvös University in Hungary.

The difference has been attributed to domestication, with dogs making their decisions based on human cues while wolves made choices based on their own observations.

The researchers say that the dogs’ responses to the tasks set were similar to human infants, who also prioritise following the example of adult humans.
